Hi, I’m Jess — an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Dublin, Ireland.
I create vibrant, nature-inspired artwork, focusing on flowers, animals, insects, and botanical, details that catch my eye in the world around me. My style is rooted in a love of colour with a cosy, countryside cottage core feel. I work across watercolour, acrylic, and digital illustration.
I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember, always drawn to making and exploring new ideas. I’m mostly self-taught, with a background in marketing and graphic design. I love experimenting with different ways to bring my ideas to life. My process often starts with photography and sketching before moving onto paper, canvas, or my iPad.
Living in Ireland, i’m constantly inspired by nature, especially the wild beauty of places like Achill, and by the Dogs, Birds, Hens, Roosters, Ducks and Cats I have grown up around. When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me out walking my dogs, rollerskating, or practicing aerial silks and hoop.
I currently sell my work through platforms like Society6 and Spoonflower, as well as through art licensing and my own website.
